Starting from October 10th, all China Southern Airlines (CSA) domestic flights departing from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport under the "China Southern Air Shuttle (南航快线)" service will see the closing time of check-in adjusted from 40 minutes to 30 minutes before departure. This adjustment, a joint initiative by the airport and airline, is part of the Civil Aviation Administration's "Travel Time Reduction Program," aimed at providing more convenience to passengers.
Since late August this year, China Southern Airlines and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport have trialed this adjustment on selected "China Southern Air Shuttle (南航快线)" flights to cities like Beijing, Wuhan, Xi'an, and Chengdu. With positive feedback and successful implementation, this improvement is now being rolled out to all flights under this service from Guangzhou. The updated procedure ensures that passengers have more time to complete check-in.

The new policy is now extended to 14 major domestic routes, including Beijing Daxing Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, and Chengdu Shuangliu/Tianfu Airport, covering 117 daily departures.

Reminders:
Cutoff time for online and on-site self-service check-in remains 40 minutes before departure. Boarding gates will still close 15 minutes before departure.
For other domestic flights departing from Guangzhou that are not under the service "China Southern Air Shuttle (南航快线)," the closing time of the manual check-in counter remains 40 minutes before departure.
